For our January 2018 trip, we decided to check out the Happily Ever After Dessert Party. Since we have two small children, (8yrs and 4yrs at the time) we thought this would be the best way for our kids to get them a decent viewing location. Papa and I were there for Food & Wine in October (sans kids), so we got a firsthand glimpse into the craziness people go through to get a good view, e.g., waiting up to 2-3hrs before the show to find a spot. Our kids are not patient, so we thought a dessert party was a perfect fit. Who doesn’t love desserts and an awesome fireworks show!

To celebrate our littlest one’s 4th birthday, we decided to book Garden Grill first thing in the morning on the last day of our trip. I have always wanted to try out this place, knowing the unique attributes of the rotating floor and the fact the food from “Living with the Land” attraction is served at this restaurant. You can also see several different scenes of the attraction as it rotates.
