To celebrate our littlest one’s 4th birthday, we decided to book Garden Grill first thing in the morning on the last day of our trip. I have always wanted to try out this place, knowing the unique attributes of the rotating floor and the fact the food from “Living with the Land” attraction is served at this restaurant. Food Review:
Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day and therefore I may be a little bias, but the meal was delicious! There is nothing I can really complain about. The cinnamon rolls were amazing, the tater tots were crispy and perfect, the fruit was super fresh and sweet! I guess the only thing that could have made it better would have been a stronger coffee, but that’s just my opinion. Everyone in our family loved the meal, even our pickiest eaters. As soon as we sat down we were served Chip’s Sticky Bun Bake and in about 5-10 minutes everything else was served as well, drinks included.
Overall Experience:
The Garden Grill is a character meal as well as an “all you care to enjoy” establishment (aka buffet). The meal is served family-style and therefore everything is brought to you, which I quite rather prefer. The birthday boy DID NOT care for the characters at all, which was a little disappointing, but at least we know now and will probably save some $$$ in the future. To make up for our son’s lack of enthusiasm, our daughter and I happily chatted with the characters and took several pictures. Our server was great and all the characters came around several times. Our meal time was at 8:30 am, but since we were the first slot, we got seated right away at about 8:10 am. We were able to wrap up breakfast by 8:45 am and head off to Soaring before the park even opened. Afterward, we hopped over to Test Track with a 5 min wait We did not have a FastPass for either attraction. This is probably the best value and what made this experience even better. I would highly recommend Garden Grill and if you can snag an early breakfast time go for it.

And with that, we hope you’re having a magical day!
