From 1.5 years old, my little girl was obsessed with the Disney Princesses. So, naturally, I was curious about the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique. Last year she turned eight years old, so I started to feel the pressure to get the ball rolling. Therefore during our July trip, I made a reservation at the Magic Kingdom, below is my review of the process and some tips!
What is the Biddidi Bobbidi Boutique?
It is a magical salon for both boys and girls that want to be transformed into their special princess or prince.
What services are provided?
Princesses will be able to select a hairstyle, get their nails done, makeup and dressed. Additionally, there is a photopass photographer on hand during the reveal and an exclusive photo shoot.
TIP: If there is a specific date and time you’re looking for you’ll want to make your reservation 180 days out.
Where is it located?
There are two locations at WDW, Magic Kingdom (Cinderella’s castle) and Disney Springs. You’ll need a park ticket to get into the Magic Kingdom location.

Overall Experience:
We opted for the Crown Package and brought a costume with us. It was a cute process, with two special fairy godmothers. We picked an early appointment time, and it was packed. The location at the Magic Kingdom is cozy. Initially, you’ll need to check in and once called will be showed to a dressing room. The cast members are friendly and always in character. There are dressing rooms for each princess/prince to change. A cast member will come and introduce you to your fairy godmothers, (one to do your kid’s hair and other to do her nails and makeup). Once completed there is the grand reveal with a photographer capturing every moment. Afterward, you can also take additional professional pictures across the path. We had a wonderful and awesome pics to reflect on.
TIP: You may want to plan an ADR to Cinderella’s Royal Table after your
appointment. This way you can have a picture with multiple princesses with your little one all dressed up. There are also a lot of great spots to take pics within the castle with your little princess.
TIP: Black Friday is the best time to purchase a quality princess dress that will last. I have purchased more than I probably should have, but have been able to pass those dresses down to other little girls…and they never lose their way to magically make smiles appear.
And with that, we hope you’re having a magical day!
