During our 2016 trip, we decided to check out Cinderella’s Royal Table as a special celebratory dinner for our little princess’ 7th birthday. It had been on Papa and mine’s places to check out, so we thought this was the perfect opportunity. We did not tell our daughter about the dinner until we were about to walk into the castle and boy was she surprised.
Sorry for the lack of photos, unfortunately, we did not take many pictures on this trip.
The Dinner Menu:
The dinner meal consisted of 3 courses:
Starter:
- Both my husband and I selected the Charcuterie Plate which included a selection of cheese and meats
- The kiddos both got a platter of cheddar cheese and grapes
Main Dish:
- I got the Braised Pork Shank
- Papa got the Beef and Shrimp
- The little ones got Chicken Nuggets
Dessert:
- I got the Jaq & Gus, which was a cheesecake with vanilla bean pannacotta

- Both papa and the kids got the Clock Strikes Twelves, which is a dark chocolate mousse

Add on:
Since we were there to celebrate our daughter’s birthday, we ordered (which was an additional cost, est. $15) Chocolate Glass Slipper dessert, which is a chocolate shoe filled with mousse. You must place this order 48hrs in advance with the restaurant.

Estimated Price:
Per Adult ($65-80), Per child ($45-65)
Membership Discounts for Cinderella’s Royal Table include:
- DVC member discount is 10%
- Annual Pass member discount is 10%
- Table in Wonderland discount is 20%
Food Review:
The food was ok for the price. The kids did eat all their food, but it was standard kids menu food, so it was expected. For us, it was more about the experience and eating inside the castle.

Overall Experience:
The ambiance and the character interaction is why you eat at Cinderella’s Royal Table. For the price, you do have some great one-on-one time with 5 princesses. You get to meet Cinderella as you wait in the main entrance. Once they call your family name (which is pretty cool), you’re escorted up to the main dining room. There you’re greeted by your waiter and given a wand or sword as well as a wishing star. There is a “show” about the wishing stars and then the princesses are introduced one by one as your dinner courses arrive. Each princess stops by your table to chat. We met Ariel, Rapunzel, Snow White, and Aurora.

Our daughter had an amazing time and I highly recommend dining at the Royal Table, if you have a princess-crazed little one. Breakfast seems to be more reasonably priced. Be warned reservations are hard to come by so make sure to schedule your dining 180 days out or check back regularly to see if anything opens up.

And with that, we hope you’re having a magical day!
