Weight Watchers at Disney World

With so many amazing Mickey-shaped snacks at Disney World, it’s hard to stay on track. Therefore I thought it would be beneficial to start my research now for my upcoming trip. So if you want to know what Disney World snacks to pick to still stay on track check out my post below.

My fitness journey started about 4 years ago. I started to incorporate exercise initially and have consistently been working out which helped me to lose about 30lbs. However, my eating habits were not the best and so I decided to incorporate the missing piece. I started Weight Watchers about 4 months ago and I’m proud to say I’ve lost about 8lbs and feel great and very cliche, but true….”I never felt hungry.”

With our Disney Vacation approaching this summer, I wanted to start planning to see how I could stay on track. So below are some snacks I’ve researched and estimated the points. Please note, I am a newbie and so I used what data was available to me. I know there’s an way to remove fruit sugars and calories, but for ease I just used the nutrition facts that were available online. Feel free to remove additional points as you see fit.

Snack NameEstimated Freestyle PointsPark
Pickles0Animal Kingdom, Magic Kingdom,
Whole Fruit Cups0Animal Kingdom, Hollywood Studios
Whole fruit (apples, grapes, pineapples, clementines, watermelon, etc.)0Animal Kingdom, Magic Kingdom, Hollywood Studios

Nestle Frozen Fruit Bar (Strawberry or Pineapple)5All - at Ice cream kiosks
Dole Whip5Magic Kingdom

I hope this helps you to stay on track. Keep in mind, you will be walking a lot, so do not deprive yourself. I know for me, I might not have a Mickey bar every day, but maybe I will one day of my trip. Giving in to my cravings in a controlled matter has been my saving grace and has allowed me to continue. If you have any other suggestions, please feel free to comment down below, and with that, I hope you’re having a magical day and good luck to my WW family members!
