Snack List Review From Our July 2018 Trip

As part of any trip, I try to put together a list of places to eat and snacks to try out. For our family, Disney isn’t just about the rides, but the experiences and food is a big part of that.

Our July 2018 trip focused on checking out the Disney’s water parks, Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach.  Below are the snacks I identified for our July trip and our review of each one:

July 2018 Snack List:

Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach: Mini Donuts

Options and Price:

  • 1/2 Dozen Mini Donuts $5.29 which comes with a choice of 1 sauce (available sauces include chocolate, raspberry, and white chocolate)
  • 1 Dozen Mini Donuts for $9.99 which comes with a choice of 2 sauces

Review: They are bite-size sugary deliciousness that is freshly baked/fried as you order. We were not given a choice of sauces, but it was still tasty.

Epcot: France Pavillion’s L’Artisan des Glaces: Croque Glace aka Brioche Ice Cream Sandwich

Description and Price: $7.04

One scoop of ice cream (of your choice), sauce (of your choice) in a Brioche bun, pressed panini style

Review: I’m not sure if this lived up to the hype. The Brioche bun didn’t taste as fresh, so I wasn’t impressed. I don’t think I would order this again, but glad we got the chance to try it out.

Epcot: France Pavillion’s L’Artisan des Glaces: Macaron

Options and Price: $4.69

  • Chocolate
  • Seasonal

Review: One of my favorites from Epcot! I’ve been getting one every trip. During this trip, we did get one of each, chocolate and strawberries & cream ice cream macaron.  The strawberries & cream was my favorite, but the chocolate is just as delicious!

Epcot: Japan Pavillion’s Kabuki Cafe: Kakigori aka Japanese shaved ice

Options and Price: $4.00-$5.00

  • Available in 5 flavors: Rainbow, Strawberry, Melon, Cherry, Tangerine, and Blue Raspberry
  • Kakigori with Sweet Milk, available in the five flavors above

Review: This is a family tradition. The kids and hubs go crazy for this cool treat, especially during our summer trips. I would recommend getting it with the sweet milk topping. I know it sounds odd, but trust me, it’s delicious!

Epcot: Mexico Pavillion’s Choza de Margarita: Frozen Margarita (adult beverage)

Options and Price: $10.25-$10.50

  • Wild Strawberry
  • Passion Mango
  • Classic Lime
  • Fiesta: a combination of 3 flavors of frozen margaritas

Review: I think this is a new family tradition of Mommy and Daddy! Ha, it was a welcomed cool treat on a hot summer day. Not only does it look beautiful, but was yummy and helped to keep me cool!

Leave a comment if you have any recommendations for us to try out on our next trip and with that, I hope you’re having a magical day!
