Today marks one full year since my initial post – Let us introduce ourselves. I still cannot believe it’s been a year and my Disney obsession continues to grow. Reflecting on
I have a confession to make; I am a later bloomer; my Disney obsession didn’t grow until three years ago when we finally decided to join the DVC family. I have always loved Disney and had gone several times before, but it increased expotentially when we took our son (2.5 at the time) for the first time to Disney World in 2016.
How it all began

We were there to celebrate my daughter’s 7th birthday, this was her second trip, but since she was only 1.5yrs old for her first trip – this was a new experience for her as well. This was our first vacation without any other family or friends so my Husband and I were a little nervous, as we would be the kids’ primary source of entertainment. And as you can see, that trip was terrific and magically. We had a funfilled and enjoyable time at WDW. Once we got back and depression sunk in, my Husband and I decided to take the plunge and purchase a few points at the Polynesian, and the rest is history!
Getting to this point and the future
The last year has been a whirlwind of learning and discipline. I work a full-time job so taking a couple of hours each day to plan and write has been a struggle, but I’m proud to say I made it, with weekly updates. This year I would like to continue to bring you new content and with all the Disney news, (e.g., new rides, movies, foods) that shouldn’t be an issue. We already have a couple of trips planned, so definitely more reviews and pictures to come.
In 2018, I primarily focused on my Instagram, but I plan to expand that focus on different social media platforms, (e.g., Facebook, Twitter) this year. So follow along as I learn to navigate through these platforms. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
I do want to take a moment and thank you all for those of you who have been reading along during my journey. So if you have any other topics or ideas for the blog, please let me know and comment below. And with that, I hope you’re having a magical day!
