Our last full day was at sea, and so we made sure the kids got in all the swimming and soft-serve ice cream they wanted. It was a pretty relaxing 24 hours.
Below I have outlined our schedule that day along with some food reviews and tips I learned along the way.
The Morning
Knowing our last full day would be at sea, we let the kiddos sleep-in….as much as kids under the age of 10 can. We did have an appointment for the Princess Gathering at 9:45 am, so at 8:45 am, we decided to head down to Lumiere’s for a sitdown breakfast.

Lumiere’s Breakfast Food Review: The menu consists of everything already available at the buffet and like other meals you can order as many dishes as you like.
Pro Tip #1 – For the princess gathering, there are specific times you need to sign up for ahead of time. If your group is running behind, (I would say no more than 25mins) let the cast member know, and they should be able to accommodate you.
Lunch and Afternoon Activities
For lunch, we headed to Cabanas for a quick bite. We were able to grab a fantastic table outside, but under the deck, so we got a beautiful view without the intense sunlight.
Cabanas Lunch Food Review: There were so many great
choices for lunch. I just picked a bunch of options. I think the Indian food (butter chicken and lamb curry) were my favorites. The highlight, however, was the warm coconut rice pudding! It honestly did not look appealing but tasted terrific!!! I went back for seconds.
After lunch, the kiddos headed back to the pool. We ended up watching three movies and eating at Duck-In Diner (burgers, fries, chicken fingers) and Pinocchio’s Pizzeria for dinner that night. At about 7:00 pm, we decided to head back to our rooms to quickly shower and head over to the final evening show.
Evening Show
The show that night was Disney Dream – An Enchanted Classic (link: https://disneycruise.disney.go.com/onboard-activities/dreams-show/). My littlest one did not last past the first 20 minutes, but my older one enjoyed the show. It was a combination of all the classic Disney, (lion king, Cinderella, Lion King, etc.) movies which we all appreciated. My husband decided to take my son back to our room while I stayed and enjoyed the Goodbye greeting with my daughter.
While the show was wrapping up, I noticed the castmember removing the
ropes…she was the star of the Disney Dream – An Enchanted Classic show! We talked to her for a minute to say how fantastic the show was and even got a selfie!
Pro Tip #2 – Don’t forget to return your child’s magic band OR you will be charged about $13 the night before disembarkment.
Pro-Tip #3 (repeat)-The actors in the show are castmembers around the ship! So keep your eyes open, Fab 5 and Princesses are not the only stars on the boat.
Disembarkment
The process to no surprise went very smoothly and in an efficient and orderly fashion. We were provided tags the night before and were required to have any luggage outside of our room by 10 pm. We were assigned to the Purple Minnie section.
Disney does have an early offboarding process. We went to Lumiere’s for breakfast and were required to line up for disembarkment at 7:30 am. We were back on port at about 8 am, where we pick up our luggage.
Overall Experience
This vacation was 180, from our typical WDW vacation. The cruise was very relaxing and full of massive amounts of food. There were plenty of activities to keep the family busy throughout the trip. With that said, I think for our family, going to WDW is more our style. We are a pretty active family, and so we were limited while on the cruise. But who knows we may get the bug to get on another cruise in the future, but for now we’ll stick to WDW.
Comment down below if you have any additional hacks or tips when it comes to cruising. And with that, I hope you’re having a magical day.
