
Planning your trip to Disney World? Feeling overwhelmed? Have no fear, for the next couple of weeks, I’ll walk you through each of the four main parks and provide you with an overview of all each park has to offer. First up, the Magic Kingdom!
Disney World’s Magic Kingdom is designed like a wheel with Cinderella’s Castle in the middle. The world is made up of six distinct areas:

- Main Street U.S.A.
- Tomorrowland
- Fantasyland
- Frontierland
- Liberty Square
- Adventureland
Main Street U.S.A
You will enter through Main Street U.S.A, where there are several shops and places to eat. Main Street is an attribute to Walt’s home town, Marceline, Missouri. Once you turn the corner down the street, you have a perfect view of Cinderella’s Castle.
Places to eat on Main Street U.S.A include:
- Crystal Palace
- The Plaza
- Casey’s Corner
- Main Street Bakery
- Plaza Ice Cream Parlor
- Main Street Confectionary
- Tony’s Town Square
Places to shop include:
- The Chapeau
- Crystal Arts
- Main Street Gallery

- Uptown Jewelers
- Main Street Cinema
- Disney Clothiers
- Main Street Athletic Club
- The Emporium
You can also get Baby’s First Haircut at the Harmony Barber Shop or meet up with Mickey and Tinkerbell at the Town Square Theater. Guests can also participate in Sorcerers of Magic Kingdom, Disney’s interactive game. And lastly, the baby center is also located near Crystal Palace.
Tomorrowland
Tomorrowland was originally envisioned to portray Walt’s view of the future. However, with so many advancements in technology, the future is continuously changing. Therefore in the ’90s, Disney decided to move towards a sci-fi view.

Fantasyland
This land is the biggest and busiest. It was updated in 2014 to include the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, Journey of the Little Mermaid, Enchanted Tales with Belle, and updates to Dumbo. It’s super cute and a land that cannot be missed.

Frontierland
After Fantasyland and Tomorrowland, Frontierland seems to be one of the busier lands. With two of the top thrill rides, Big Thunder Mountain and Splash Mountain.

Liberty Square
Although Liberty Square is one of the smallest lands, the food is fantastic here! And you totally feel transported to the early 1900s.

Adventureland
This is the only land where I can proudly say that I have completed all of the attractions, and I’ve been to Disney World over ten times.

Want to be a pirate or a mermaid? Check at the Pirate League and be transferred in an hour. Located right next to the Pirates of the Carribean ride.
