Cruise Planning: Packing Checklist

Embarking on our first Disney Cruise is super exciting. As part of the first step, I have been researching how to prepare and what to pack. Below is my current list of our Disney Cruise packing list.

Below I have organized my packing list into the following sections:

  1. Clothing
  2. Accessories
  3. Toiletries
  4. Medication
  5. Paperwork

Clothing

  1. Causal clothing for the duration of the cruise
  2. Formal clothing (depending on your cruise itinerary)
  3. Bathing suit and cover-up
  4. Jacket or sweatshirt for the night
  5. Socks
  6. Underwear
  7. Flip flops
  8. Formal shoes
  9. Sneakers
  10. Workout clothing – if you plan to do so
  11. PJs
  12. Clothing to go out at night

Accessories

  1. Sunglasses
  2. Hats
  3. Watch – preferrable a waterproof one
  4. Earphones – if you plan to listen to music and/or books, podcasts
  5. Smartphone – with downloaded videos, music, books, podcasts
  6. Camera – if you don’t have a smartphone
  7. Jewelry for formal night
  8. Chargers and batteries
  9. Swimming goggles
  10. Swim Floatees for the kids
  11. Power strip

Toiletries

  1. Toothpaste and toothbrush
  2. Sunscreen
  3. Face wash (if you use it)
  4. Lip balm – with SPF
  5. Nail Clipper
  6. Shaving cream and shaver
  7. Deodorant
  8. Any other lotions, toner you use daily and at night
  9. Hairbrush/comb
  10. Hair ties
  11. Hairspray – if needed
  12. Dry Shampoo – if needed

Medication

  1. Motion Sickness Meds
  2. Sea Bands – if they work for you – perfect for kids
  3. Bandaids
  4. Digestive Aids
  5. Pain medication
  6. Prescription medication – if needed

Paperwork

  1. DCL forms
  2. DCL luggage tags
  3. Passport
  4. ID
  5. Insurance Card
  6. Cash

Disney Cruise Specific Items

  1. Fish Extender
  2. Fish Extender gifts – if you are participating
  3. Autograph books
  4. Pins – for trading
  5. Minnie Ears
  6. Door decorations
  7. Kids Costumes (e.g., princess dresses, pirate clothing)

Optional Items

  1. Beach Toys
  2. Backpack or Beach bag
  3. binoculars

  5. candy – for shows
  6. Extension Cord
